JTA Performance Camp

We are excited to offer our annual performance camp once again this summer.  Nick Whitmer, nationally certified strength and conditioning coach of the Jenks Trojans will again be leading the training that will help your young athlete prepare for the upcoming fall season.  Together, we have over 40 years of coaching experience including NCAA and elite high school level experience.  Our team is called ATSports.

We realize the importance of teaching athletes proper techniques and training methods at a young age.  Safety, technique and effort will be stressed at all times.   We also strive to assist you in building your child’s excitement for training along with their character, work ethic, and team work skills.  Our staff will create a positive, mentoring environment for each participant, and encourage each participant to improve each day at all levels.

Our performance camp provides a strong introduction to technique, flexibility, core strength, speed, and conditioning for both young and inexperienced athletes of all sports.  New this year – we will incorporate football specific position drills into our training each week.

Our staff believes coaching young people is our mission, not our job, and we believe in teaching the entire athlete, mind, body, and spirit, so I hope you and your child will join us this summer for a great camp.

Note on INFC Rule - if your son attends a school other than Jenks (even though you may live in the Jenks district) they are required to play for the football club associated with that school.  In certain cases a release may be granted (for example, if your child has been playing for JTA for a few years already).  If you fall into this category, please ask your child's school what football club he needs to register with or contact the Vice President of Football (Paul Howell).  This rule was put into place by INFC and Jenks does not have any control over the outcome of releases.

Trimble Strong

This year all JTA teams will be wearing a logo on their helmet showing support for the Trimble Strong Foundation.  Coach Trimble meant so much not only to the legacy of Jenks Trojan Football but the Jenks Community as a whole and we are honored to continue to support his legacy in this way.
